12mR North American Championship
The 2025 12 Metre North American Championship will take place in Newport, Rhode Island, September 19–21, hosted by the Ida Lewis Yacht Club in partnership with the International Twelve Metre Association Americas Fleet. Featuring the graceful and historic yachts that once defined the America’s Cup, the regatta will bring together Traditional and Classic divisions for three days of racing on Narragansett Bay, with prime viewing from Fort Adams, Castle Hill, and Bannister’s Wharf, where the fleet will dock between races. Celebrated for their beauty and rarity, 12 Metres are “graceful, elegant thoroughbreds built to race,” and this championship launches a two-year series of world-class events in Newport leading up to the 2026 12mR Pre-Worlds and World Championship.

The Officers and Members of the Edgartown Yacht Club invite you to participate in the Edgartown Yacht Club 12Metre Regatta in August 8-10, 2025.
The Regatta is open to 12Metre yachts holding a valid certificate and are current with their International 12Metre Class dues, America’s Fleet and certificate filing fees.

What started as a Shields-only regatta in 1984 has grown to become a keynote annual event on every sailor’s “must-do” list. Every July we gather an average of 14 one-design classes on four circles of racing in Newport. We’re known for lots of races and little waiting. Be ready for this challenging and spirited regatta on the legendary waters of Narragansett Bay.

The Tiedemann Classics Regatta brings together some of the most beautiful yachts you will see on the water. This bi-annual event is open to all boats with a current CRF 2025 certificate that also conforms to any modifications set forth by the NYYC Classics Rules.

North America's oldest annual regatta will feature three great days of racing including the Around-the-Island Race on Friday, June 13 which is scored separately. The regatta will include classes in ORC ,PHRF, One-Design, and CRF.
